The Tees Transporter Bridge, often referred to as the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge is the furthest downstream bridge across the River Tees, England. It connects Middlesbrough, on the south bank, to Port Clarence, on the north bank. It is a transporter bridge, carrying a travelling 'car', or 'gondola', suspended from the bridge, across the river in 90 seconds. The gondola can carry 200 people, 9 cars, or 6 cars and one minibus.

Whitby, North Yorkshire
Whitby Abbey with it's gaunt, imposing remains, recently named Britain’s most romantic ruin is set high on a cliff above the Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby.
Whitby is such a beautiful place with its odd little shops and its fun arcades for the children. It is a much loved place by everyone and anyone who visits it. The goth weekends are definitely a sight to be seen as everyone dresses up in their very own style each outfit more creative than the last, it is truly amazing seeing everyone come together.
Whitby is definitely a sight to be seen and is more than recommended.

Splash
Here we have my two wonderful daughters having fun in their pool last summer. Literally every day they asked if they could get the pool out and almost every day I delivered. There is nothing better in life to see your own children laughing and smiling together. It's a shame this pool broke as did the one before it and the one after it...
Hopefully another one will arrive before the summer does this year.
The best memories are the one's surrounded by smiles and laughter.

Upcoming travels within the next year.
So we're into the new year, its cold, quiet and dark so the plan is to visit Ilfracombe in April with my partner then go into a total different direction to Edinburgh in May for a girls weekend! I'm so excited!
I've done a bit of researching and Ilfracombe sounds amazing! Everything is just a walk away, they have an aquarium, a museum, a leisure park, a cornmill, a manor and even HAUNTED HOUSES! Some of the activities on the list include walking, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, horse riding, cycling, surfing, sub-aqua diving or simply exploring... I know we're going to have the best time just me and my fiancé relaxing and enjoying ourselves.
I'm a total lover of Scotland anyways but I have found that Edinburgh is filled with history, heritage and culture and it has over 500 hotels! (my mind is blown right now). We could visit Edinburgh castle, Scottish Parliament, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Royal Botanic Garden, Arthur's Seat, Hard Rock Café, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Dungeons, Edinburgh Ghost bus, Harry Potter walking tour, or we could visit 1 of 732 pubs!! (Do I hear pub crawl?)
Definitely looking forward to it but obviously pictures will be posted regularly unless I'm really eager and start posting in bulk haha..

Staithes, North Yorkshire
You've gotta love a blue sky day down by the sea crabbing with the kids, diving into the water and exploring the village. Seeing all the other families with the same idea with smiles all around. Damp wet dogs running round with a stick they've just found and digging holes genuinely loving life.
The place where you genuinely feel serenity.
Staithes, North Yorkshire
Staithes village is full of passion and you should definitely visit.
A little piece of heaven nestled into the cliffs of the North Yorkshire Coast, unspoilt & charming.

A village lost in time built on fishing with a history going back to the Bronze Age, encompassing Captain Cook, untouched Georgian & Victorian cottages, The Staithes Group of Artists, there’s even a WW1 camp!
Staithes is ideally placed for relaxation and recreation for all the family, not forgetting our four legged friends – the pubs, the beach, a lot of the cottages and B&B’s are dog friendly.
Chill out on the beach or in front of a roaring log fire.
For the more active – there’s lots of walking (the Cleveland Way runs through the village), cycling (we’re on the No1 cycle route), rock pooling, fossil hunting or we’re ideally placed to explore the North York Moors.
Cherry Island and the striking Fort Augustus Abbey
And here you have it Cherry Island and the striking Fort Augustus Abbey. It's beautiful, eerie, historic and amazing all at the same time. To be honest this picture does not give it justice, seeing it with your own eyes is astonishing, if you visit cherry island they have information boards teaching you all about this Abbey and what it was used for. Definitely gets a 9/10 from me!
This picture is from last year when my fiancé proposed to me! Loch Ness is a beautiful place and I highly recommend it to be ticked off your bucket list. Especially if you go on the Loch Ness cruise a full 50 minutes on the water learning about the mysteries below it is totally invigorating and while on the Loch it takes you over to Cherry Island and the striking Fort Augustus Abbey. Scotland is a beautiful place you just have to visit! (Thank me later)

Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse of January 2019
After weeks of anticipation, the super blood wolf moon has finally appeared in the UK. After this dazzling appearance, the next one won't happen until January 31, 2037, and it will be the third and last of the 21st century.
I honestly only got this picture by chance, as myself and my partner were up having a drink and we popped out for a cigarette and looked up to see this in the sky! Lucky us!
The Penshaw Monument, officially The Earl of Durham's Monument, was built in 1844 on Penshaw Hill between the districts of Washington and Houghton-le-Spring, within the City of Sunderland, North East England. It is dedicated to John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham and the first Governor of the Province of Canada and affectionately known as Radical Jack.
North Yorkshire Moors
The bright blue skies and fluffy white clouds this is the countryside near our own town.
It's so pretty and still, silence all around, but maybe a 'baa' from a sheep or a 'moo' from a cow.
A robin red breast just flew from a tree, just perched on the wall right beside of me.
It's oh so pleasant not a building in sight, you should see it at night time the stars are so bright.

Aphrodite
She wanders the earth, with a naked heart,
spreading her affection to those she passes
Love is what she offers,
she seeks only others happiness
Her strides know no length,
only time is her enemy
spreading her affection to those she passes
Love is what she offers,
she seeks only others happiness
Her strides know no length,
only time is her enemy
Mikkel K. Petersen
The sunshine of your precious smile
could melt the coldest heart.
It brightens up my dreary day
when we are far apart.
The memory of your little hand
holding mine so tight
brings a warm glow to my heart
on a cold and dreary night.
Those little arms that hug my neck
will soon be big and strong;
you're growing up so quickly
so it won't be very long.
So I'll take your hugs and kisses now,
cause the day will soon be here,
when you'll think you're much too big,
for me to hold so near.
Everyone has
at one time or other,
picked up a pebble on the beach,
turned it over in their hands,
sensed something of its uniqueness,
how millions of years have gone to the splitting
and the smoothing of the rock,
to the perfect shaping of the pebble.
Few of us stop and think for longer.
It is a momentary glimpse into an eternal process,
but we drop the pebble and carry on walking along the beach.
Silvery moon
