Staithes, North Yorkshire

Staithes village is full of passion and you should definitely visit.
A little piece of heaven nestled into the cliffs of the North Yorkshire Coast, unspoilt & charming.

A village lost in time built on fishing with a history going back to the Bronze Age, encompassing Captain Cook, untouched Georgian & Victorian cottages, The Staithes Group of Artists, there’s even a WW1 camp!

Staithes is ideally placed for relaxation and recreation for all the family, not forgetting our four legged friends – the pubs, the beach, a lot of the cottages and B&B’s are dog friendly.

Chill out on the beach or in front of a roaring log fire.

For the more active – there’s lots of walking (the Cleveland Way runs through the village), cycling (we’re on the No1 cycle route), rock pooling, fossil hunting or we’re ideally placed to explore the North York Moors.
