So we're into the new year, its cold, quiet and dark so the plan is to visit Ilfracombe in April with my partner then go into a total different direction to Edinburgh in May for a girls weekend! I'm so excited!
I've done a bit of researching and Ilfracombe sounds amazing! Everything is just a walk away, they have an aquarium, a museum, a leisure park, a cornmill, a manor and even HAUNTED HOUSES! Some of the activities on the list include walking, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, horse riding, cycling, surfing, sub-aqua diving or simply exploring... I know we're going to have the best time just me and my fiancé relaxing and enjoying ourselves.
I'm a total lover of Scotland anyways but I have found that Edinburgh is filled with history, heritage and culture and it has over 500 hotels! (my mind is blown right now). We could visit Edinburgh castle, Scottish Parliament, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Royal Botanic Garden, Arthur's Seat, Hard Rock Café, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Dungeons, Edinburgh Ghost bus, Harry Potter walking tour, or we could visit 1 of 732 pubs!! (Do I hear pub crawl?)
Definitely looking forward to it but obviously pictures will be posted regularly unless I'm really eager and start posting in bulk haha..
