Hi Moon

Hi moon me again I cant help but admire your ways, your markings your elegant glow. The peace I feel when I see you full like this is beyond compare. I am grateful for your existence I will forever be an admirer.
While most kids enjoy their box of toys
My inner child’s pride is a treasure trove of words
I love to admire, touch and fondle them
I play with their different finishes
Some are soft and shiny, some are dull
I prefer the ones that are translucent
The pearly ones are wonderful
Some are precious and semi-precious
Some are hurtful, others soothing
Some imprison, others liberate
Some words are dense and cold
While others as gentle as a whisper
Some reflect elation and infinity
My treasure trove of words is bottomless
I am a playful princess proudly wearing my tiara
Wealthy beyond imagination

Surely not just a pebble?

The pebbles you see were not picked by me,
but they were chosen by the sea.
She placed them here with her own rough waves,
lucky me I came on the right day.

Good boy!

Wanna go for a walk?
The words stun his eyes in disbelief.
His tail stops wagging momentarily,
then lets go in a spasm of joy.
I reach for the leash.
His face lights up,
his mouth opens wide,
his little body wiggles.
Along the water,
he chases birds
prancing through the sand,
reminding me of a young spunky child
running and playing.
A sudden burst of
smoky barbecue scent
rides the wind
as it fills the air
and our noses.
He stands erect,
observing
everything about outside
as if savouring and keeping it
to enjoy as a memory.
Homeward bound,
we take no detours,
no stops.
He knows our final destination.
He anxiously trots to
our doorstep.
The door opens,
he steps inside
and is fast asleep
within minutes.

Ullapool is a village of around 1,500 inhabitants in Ross and Cromarty, Scottish Highlands. Despite its small size it is the largest settlement for many miles around and an important port and tourist destination. The North Atlantic Drift passes Ullapool, moderating the temperature. A few Cordyline australis or New Zealand cabbage trees are grown in the town and are often mistaken for palms. The town lies on Loch Broom, on the A835 road from Inverness. On the east shore of Loch Broom, Ullapool was founded in 1788 as a herring port by the British Fisheries Society. It was designed by Thomas Telford. Before then the town was only an insignificant hamlet of just over 20 households. The harbour is still the edge of the town, used as a fishing port, yachting haven, and ferry port. Ullapool has a strong reputation as a centre for music, the arts and performance. The village has a small museum housed in a Telford Church, An Talla Solais, an arts centre with frequently changing exhibitions and workshops, a swimming pool and fitness centre, and several pubs, bed and breakfasts, restaurants and hotels. It is a centre for walkers, wildlife enthusiasts and other holidaymakers and is situated in a spectacular and remote part of the United Kingdom.

I will most definitely be visiting Ullapool again in the future, It's so beautiful and the feeling of peace you have when there is remarkable. Seeing the seals by the dock is amazing the water is so clear you can see them chasing the fish at the bottom of the water. I'm getting goose pimples just looking at my photo.. utter perfection.

My Fiancé in Strathpeffer

It was our first time in Strathpeffer, Scotland. Our first little getaway, my first time in Scotland and where my love for you and this place grew incredibly. I believe after our break away here, I knew I was smitten, I adored you like no other.
Being out of our comfort zone and not knowing where we were or where we were going made it so fun, finding the band stand and claiming it as our own, walking into the wood and inhaling so many mosquitos (blergh), and reading the stories on the wooden carved statues.
And the hilarious courses you ordered from the menu at dinner where everything turned up miniature you couldn't make it up, you learned to order what I ordered to make sure you had a meal and not a snack (haha). During this holiday was my first time trying Gin and to be precise it was Edinburgh Gin - Rhubarb and Ginger and it was LUSH!
The ten hour coach ride was long but it was worth it when we got here.
Thank god for National Holidays!

March 2017 our first trip of many..

I love you, My FiancĂ©
When out driving in the car sometimes you get just a random amazing shot.
The ripples on the water even though there is no wind.
See you another day sun, please come back.
